Oh, Happy Day!

This week the other new teachers and I picked up our new residence permits!  Sorry the pictures aren't great but I was just so excited to be holding that card in my hands after waiting so long. 

Later that evening some of us celebrated (ok, we were actually going to go anyway) by trying out a new restaurant nearby. It's a burger house and the burgers were great!! Burgers aren't really much of a thing in Turkey so often they are kind of an expensive disappointment but these were great!! Big and juicy with a side of wavy fries!
