I guess it all started about 8:15, Dad took The Baby to a cello audition and the rest of us headed to save seats for Seb's graduation. It was lovely and she did a great job! I was so proud of her. It seems so weird for my little sister to be graduating from high school but she did!!
After the graduation we saw some of her friends, visited at the reception for a bit then headed up to Ruth's nursing school penning ceremony, a little over an hour away. I'm so glad we were all able to make it. The ceremony was basically the nursing school's graduation. It was a sweet time to honor the graduations as the celebrated graduating. Next we had a late lunch/early dinner before heading over the the university's graduation. The day seemed to be a lot of getting places and waiting but it was nice being with family. My brother had come in town for the graduations. He recently moved across the country so it was nice to have time to hear about his new place and what he's been up to. Finally the graduates and faculty began filing in and the graduation began. By now we were well seasoned in commencement addresses and waited patiently until the dean called her name. We were all so proud of both our graduates.
Yes we may have gotten a bit tense at times and we may have rushed though parts of the day that we shouldn't have but in the end it was a day none of us will soon forget.
