More Adventures

This afternoon a friend and I decided to walk to the mall for lunch then on to the 'yarn dungeon' for some yarn. It's a good long walk all the way there but it's a beautiful day. Halfway to the mall I asked if she'd mind trying a different way to the mall.

There's a dirt road that I vaguely remember from last time I was here that I thought might connect to the main road where we were going, literally cutting off the corner and being a short cut (maybe saving us 10 minutes). 30 minutes later, after walking through a construction site and over 4 piles of rocks and dirt we arrived closer to where we started than I was expecting.

Oh well, live and learn. I'm thankful for adventurous friends who don't complain when I take them on weird 'adventures' they probably didn't want.
