I haven't learned much Turkish but used along with hand motions and pictures my few words can usually get me what I'm looking for. Tonight at the mall though I was again reminded about what happens with miscommunication. After ordering "pide ve sprite" and pointed to which kind I wanted (using the pictures on the sign) I was given my sprite and the biggest pide I've ever seen!
Usually its about 1/2 this size.. oh well.. here's lunch for tomorrow :)
