Winter Ball

This weekend was an event I've heard about for years; The Winter Ball! Although I don't know many of the secondary students, I was happy to help chaperone and excited to experience this exciting school event. It was also a fun excuse to get all dolled up and dance. At one point a former student, who'd dropped her sister off and stayed to watch a bit asked what grade I was in. "I teach K-5" She was shocked and quickly tried to explain herself. I assured her I wasn't offended but was glad to break the stereotypes of the 'old, frumpy teacher'.

We danced, took some pictures, and honestly had as much or more fun than the students!
