Peach Pickin'

Last weekend my sisters and I got a group of friends together to go peach picking. We'd never been but called for information and decided to give it a try.

I'm so glad we went, it was such a fun morning! When we got there the sweet little country boy manning the stand gave us each a basket and told us where to go. He also let us know that "a peck is $10 or you can get 1/2 a bushel for $20" Us: "A what?!?!" He showed us which basket was a peck and we were off to pick.

We even had a timed peach-eating contest

On our way home we found a field of sunflowers and stopped to take a few pictures. I've been so blessed to have time with my sisters this summer and I keep being reminded of how wonderful they are.

Once we got home we made peach cobbler and, or course, ate peaches for lunch. They were wonderful!
