Neighborhood Library

I've seen these little lending libraries all over recently but haven't ever used one. It seems whenever I see one I'm either in the middle of my book or I'm already borrowing the book from someone else.

Sometime in the past few months someone has put up a little library in my parents' neighborhood. One I finished my most recent book (one I picked up at a used book give-a-way at the beginning of the summer) I excitedly took it down to the library to trade it out.

I took the dog, who was happy for an outing, and we walked a couple of blocks and came home with a new book to read! It was so cute. There were books for all ages and interests from an ABC board book to The da Vinci Code.
